First book finished of 2021. Kind of underwhelming. I did like that Ninjak showed up, and the Mad Max stuff was fun, but the ending was kind of disappointing and sad.

Jeff Lemire's third volume is his version of [b:Wolverine: Old Man Logan|6238080|Wolverine Old Man Logan|Mark Millar|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1560344879l/6238080._SX50_.jpg|6420803] featuring Bloodshot and some other characters from The Valiant Universe. It's fun, paced well, and includes some interesting concepts for the universe's future.

A 4-issue story line that ends up being a dream? Really?

I liked it, but yet another 'possible future' storyline from Valiant. Getting kind of old.

Now that's more like it!!

Big time-skip here. 30 years to be precise.

This arc is bonkers. It's a Mad Max/Bloodshot deal. Very cool. I've always been a fan of post-apocalyptic stuff so this one itched that craving nicely.

Lemire does a fine job with this one and ends the arc off perfectly, although the cliffhanger is pretty freaking enormous.

I loved this trade. I got my blood and guts and carnage. That's all I ask of my Bloodshot stories. This one gave it to me.

Also...Ninjak! Fuck yeah!
