If I could rate this book just by the cover alone it would be five stars, hands down. Unfortunately the story itself didn't quite live up to the fabulous cover.

I'm a fan of Meghan Quinn, this was my first time reading Jessica Prince though. Hustler does have some laugh out loud moments and some sexy moments but a lot of the story didn't work for me. There's a fine line between alpha and a**hole and this hero walked it. He had some seriously douchetastic dirty talk. If I was Nell I would have punched him in the junk.

It took me a lot longer than it usually does to finish this book. I'm clearly in the minority compared to some of the other reviews but this one was just so-so. It didn't work for me. I really wanted to love it.

I loved this book. This is another of that books that was really addictive and I couldn’t stop reading it. This book was hilarious. I can’t even count how many times I laughed while reading this book. I really enjoyed this book and its characters and it was actually pretty different from what I was expecting. As I said before I really enjoyed all the characters in this book. Penelope was really feisty and sarcastic and I loved her. Gavin was really cocky, let’s be real, and at first it’s impossible to like him but it was really possible to see how much he changed after meeting Penelope and how much they helped each other. These two had an amazing chemistry and I started rooting for them pretty soon. Not only I loved the main characters but I also loved the side characters. I can’t stop thinking how hilarious Page, Penelope’s best friend and roommate, was. Every scene Page appeared I would laugh a lot. I really hope this ends up being a series because I need to know what happened between Page and Graham and I also want to know more about Scott and Davies. I need books about them because I already started loving these characters in this book.

I also really love the story and the Las Vegas and poker setting and let’s not forget one of my favorite things, the dual POV. I love a good dual POV and this was a good dual POV. I loved how distinct their voices were. Also, as I said before, this book was really addictive and had a fast-pacing so it was pretty easy to read it.

Overall, this was a really good read. I can’t wait to read more books written by Meghan Quinn and Jessica Prince and if the books are about the side characters from Hustler I would be even happier to read them. If you like new adult romance and cocky main characters you should give this one a try.

2 stars may seem a bit harsh but I didn't like this book enough to actually like it.

+Nell. For most of the book Nell is a good female lead. I don't really like how fast she was to forgive Gavin but overall I liked her.
+The friendship groups.

-Given I play poker and know a lot about it, Gavin's character and story was all wrong. Having Gavin play and help in the casino like that is a massive conflict of interest and there is no way you can be the best poker player in the world using tells only.
-Gavin is a hit and miss character - I cannot a lot of people like his alpha-ness; I didn't.

First of all,let me start off by saying that I am a huge fan of Meghan Quinn.I love her writing. Her books are funny and let me tell you there were times when I was laughing so hard that I almost fell off my bed :)

But Hustler just didn't do it for me.I liked the plot and well the characters were good but for me there was something missing in this one.

I liked Penelope's character and how she worked very hard to achieve her dream and how she never gave up.I loved Page, that hilarious girl. GUHH,wish I had a friend like her in real life.
Scott was so sweet.

And Gavin Saint.......

Truth,I didn't like him very much.He was set out steal my heart but I don't know ............he just didn't.*sighs*

The moments which had me smiling the entire time I was reading were very much worth it though.

Nevertheless,I would to see some of the other characters from this book.
