This book seemed to surprise me at every turn. I loved how well it tied in with the first book of the series while still being its own story. I look forward to reading more from this author.

This book was more exciting than the first book in the series. The first book had me wanting to throw it across the room because of the two main characters but the two main characters in this book were better by a landslide. I loved Eva’s sass and fearlessness. Godric’s personality was also way better in this book than the previous. We actually get to see why he comes off so cold to other people.
The plot was fast paced for most of it and there was some funny predicaments the characters ended up in. Would recommend for people who like strong female heroines, enemies to lovers, and love interests that banter back and forth with each other.
