This was disappointing because I expected to enjoy this a lot more than I actually did.

The biggest downfall for me was that Finnie annoyed me a lot of the time and very much bordered the line of tstl. Frey also got to me at certain points as well.

This was not necessarily a bad book, however it was not a book that was really meant for my enjoyment.

Frey Drakkar & Seoafin (Finnie): A Perfect Match! 5 Stars

This book was freaking amazing! Definitely an excellent start to an awesome, series-reading experience!

Seoafin wants to go on an adventure. Greiving her parents, she locates a witch that has a connection to an alternate world where her double resides in another reality. For a small fortune, the witch makes contact with the twin, and she agrees to swap places with Seoafin for a year. The swap is made and as it turns out, Seoafin's twin neglected to disclose some very vital information to her before the switch is made. From the minute Seoafin lands in this new world, she is trust into an adventure she may not be ready for: marriage!

This book is a work of genius. As I read the book, I got the strange feeling of deja vu... like I was transported to the 80s and watching an episode of a romantic, "Quantum Leap" right down to the "Ho Boy!"! What an original concept and the story pulls you right in from the first chapter!

Seoafin is hilarious and the peak inside her thoughts and mind gave really great insight to the character and its as if you were experiencing the journey right along with her. Frey Drakkar was so damn sexy, possessive and protective of his "wee Finnie" I became jealous, wishing that a man fussed over me the way he did. I loved them together and it was so sweet watching them grow into loving each other.

This is definitely a series that I will continue. We got a sneak peek into Book two and a little taste of future books to come and I cannot wait to dive back into this series and experience the next "swap"! Brilliant writing and I highly recommend this book!

Happy reading!

Couldn't finish the book. main character supposed to be a 30 yr old woman but acts like a teenager. cannot fend for herself, completely dependent on the hot guy. she's just completely insufferable. wants to get mad at her man for being an idiot but never actually commits to an argument.

Ughhh can I give this book more than 5 stars!!!!?? This was such a good story will such great characters! Cannot wait for Ilsa and Apollo's story!!

I loved this book and couldn't read it fast enough. Kristen Ashley is one of my favorites but I was weary of her doing fantasy but it was amazing. I am staring the second book of the series and cannot wait to see what is next for this magical land. Must read!!!!

This one almost lost me. This happily ever after adventure story has plenty of (vanilla) spice. I’m never one to turn down a perfectly handsome, monster of a man as my MMC and I never shy from an author who don’t hesitate to add a little death to their stories. However, some of the writing, though acknowledged (too late) can be seen as brutally offensive. With a title like “fantasyland” the main characters shouldn’t much mention homosexuality and certainly shouldn’t have misogynistic main characters.

Ehh. This was just okay. I didn’t vibe well with Finnie or Frey. They were tiresome.
