i don’t like when the mfc is supposed to be a loner bad ass and some magic makes not only trust some dude via bond and she doesnt question it or fight it. makes no sense.

- i was kinda excited for a succubus FMC but it very much was a let down in my opinion when it came to her character
- the whole insta-love while we are kidnapped and starving and have to pee in a bucket together just sounded awful to me
- also how the main character just heard voices called ‘The Elders’ who told her to do things like kill random people and she’d just listen and do it was super weird
- and the kidnapping felt so random and out of nowhere i did not get the point at all
- plus each of the four MMCs felt pretty similar characterization-wise and it got harder to tell them apart
- and the MM content felt very shoved aside once the FMC was introduced which didn’t feel great
- i just was not really vibing with the book so i decided it wasn’t worth it to continue on if i wasn’t gonna enjoy it

This was a great book about Mara and how she is an assassin for The I vernal Blade and how things go wrong and she is considered a rogue along with her mates. She has to save Rora and how that happens.

I love this book so hard! It drew me in and kept hold of me until it was done! The darkness in the book called to me. I don't know how I'm supposed to survive until the next book.

Amazing this book is exactly my kind of book and this one doesn't disappoint. It might not be everyone's cup of tea but i really loved it. Its a brilliant start, the characters are loners until they find each other and the MC is kickass! A well written story anf if you are into fast burn this is the book for you!!! Can't to see what she comes up with next in book 2!!

I have had this book on my kindle for months. I got it, added it to my tbr, and figured I would get to it soon. I am so sorry that I didn’t read it right away. It is so good! I love that there is more to the story than just the relationships. The storyline is so good and still building. I can’t wait to see where the author is taking this series!
