It was alright. Honestly, it was so focused on their past lives that I feel like I never really got to know them now at all. *shrug*

Meh.

Another great addition to the series! As someone who grew up hearing about King Arthur and the Knights, this is my first time I've read one of its re-telling. Mostly, I got my fix through watching movies about it. Let me tell you, I love this one because of its different twist.

Set in modern time, Gwen must find her Blood/ Knights before King Arthur captures and locks her up. Again. And yes, King Arthur's not what he is portrayed to be. I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this and can't wait for more of this world.

I received an ARC and I'm choosing to leave an honest review.

I loved Joely’s take on Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. Gwen is a badass, and I’m honestly glad that Shara took her on as a sib queen. My only issue is, I only wish this was a longer book, or became a series

I love this take on Queen Gweniver and King Arthur and Merlin and the Knights of the Round Table. I can not wait to see how things end with this series.

It had potential

This book had so much potential but unfortunately it just want executed well. The story wasn't fleshed out well enough. Even Gwen despite her appearance in previous books. The climax was anticlimactic. I just can't wrap my head around the ease of it all. Thousands of years of suffering solved by a ring. Too convenient.

It's just so disappointing considering the detail and brilliance of Shara's story. This feels like an amateur author wrote this book. It's unfortunate because I love the author's work and was looking forward to another brilliant work by the author. Unfortunately this just wasn't it.

Loved it

One of the best books ever. I was so excited for Gwen and her blood. It had me captured from the first moment.

A short story that I hope has more to come. As a huge fan of Joely, I may be a bit biased, but I absolutely loved this spin off and how it ties into the main TVQ series. I have waited so long and enjoyed teasers for this story to finally be here. I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!
