didn’t really read it all the way thru tbh
had to read for class it was actually dogshit
Abel has a way with words but this is in no way a novel and it should not be as long as it is
should be a poetry collection or something

not me finishing this book, closing it, standing up and muttering, “damn Abel, y’all really got me yet AGAIN.”

i don’t even really know what i meant by that but it’s true.

i’m going to need 2 full days with my thoughts to process reading this book & then i’m going to have to read it again.

Left unrated as this was a case of right book, wrong reader. 

Recommended to folks who can get into unconventional fiction. The narrative is poetic and rhythmic and deserves to be given its full time to percolate. 

Not recommended for folks who like to zoom through their reading or who are not super into poetry.
