I struggled with this book due to the language mostly, however I realised towards the end that id kept up far more than I realised. It enjoyed its story greatly (even though it is very dark) and found it a refreshing take on western style literature. The ending with the judge confused me but felt in line with the rest of the book. I did have to read a synopsis at the end to make sure i was right in what Id read but ultimately I was. I will probably return and read this again some time

It was an unbearable read. It was so so slow and the way the book is written is so confusing. I genuinely couldn't get into it, even 100 pages in. Dont recommend.
