I really enjoyed this one. Was a bit worried I wasn’t going to, but after the first few chapters it started to really get going.
I love the dynamic between Lalo and Carolina. Their banter had me chuckling aloud quite a bit. Fiery Carolina and Nerdy Lalo are so perfect for each other - even though it doesn’t sound like it. They brought out the best in each other.
The storyline was interesting, a lot of the usual vampiric lore, holy water, staking etc but what I really enjoyed was the setting. I’ve never really read any Hispanic set novels and I loved it.
At almost 400 pages I thought it would take a while to get through but I found myself wanting to keep going back every time I stopped for a break.
Overall a great read that I would highly recommend if you’re after a vampire romance with a bit of action.

This is very much a YA book, but it was just so darn cute. Even though conflicts seemed to resolve themselves quickly I think the plot was intriguing enough! Super fun read :)
