This was a lot of fun! I may not have enjoyed it AS much as the previous ones but it was still extremely great and I can't wait to continue reading. Ichigo and Rukia are just really cool main characters, as well as I enjoy reading about others.

Don Kanonji is one of the most irritating characters, which is unfortunate because his side story takes up the majority of this volume. Minimal development for Ichigo and friends or the plot in this volume aside from Uryu the Quincy being introduced.

Unfortunately, this was a let down compared to the first 3, mainly because of the focus on Don Kanonji, please tell me he's not a reccuring character because he is sooo annoying. Once he wasn't the focus, it became really enjoyable again, I really liked the ending, and I'm intrigued by the new character!

I really liked the writing and storytelling style. It was consistent and didn't falter anywhere. The twists were excellently written and placed. The ending was very well written - it was open but not too open.
Graphic: Violence
Moderate: Cursing

Not my favorite volume. It's sort of filler, with the gang going out to see Don Kanoji's tv show in the flesh (a special at Karakura), but what they end up witnessing is more terrible than they expected. But it's also a moment when everyone we've met is in the same place and we can see where they all stand. The volume says this is the turning point so I'm curious to see what that means exactly. Then we're "introduced" to a character I'm not a huge fan of initially (aka. guy on the cover).
