This was a cute palate cleanser for me! I’m a huge mood reader and I’ve been in a rut of fantasy and dark romance; and haven’t been able to find anything that catches my interest. So I picked this up. And almost devoured it. It was hard to keep my attention; but it was hard to put down; if that makes sense? It’s a grumpy sunshine; meets my boss is my lover meets a meet cute hidden identity. It’s got basically every trope. The theme park idea was super cute! I liked Zahra a lot, if she got a little “put my foot into it a bit” a few times, but man did Rowan really shove his ass into a ditch a couple of times. It wasn’t one where you could guess where it was going to go; so I enjoyed that about it. I’d recommend this one! But I also probably wouldn’t pick up the next one.

Omg what the actual hell was this book? I wanted to DNF this book so much but decided to stuck it out in hopes that it would hook me towards the end. Boy, was I wrong Jesus. I’m glad I’m finished and I will not be reading the rest of the trilogy. Rowan and Zahra were so cringey i wanted to rip my eyes out of my eye sockets. If there’s one book I will not recommend it’s this one.
