I am once again reading this cos of the anime!!!! I have finished it just yesterday, and I couldn't resist reading the manga. Even though they are some inconsistencies with the former I still love them the same (some scenes in the anime were added, and others got deleted.).

I know must people are familiar with The Sherlock Holmes series, and the tv show. I have read some of those, and absolutely enjoyed its adaptation. Considering that they have a homosexual undertone I shipped Sherlock and Watson, obviously, and truly despised Moriarty. BUT THAT WAS IN THE PAST! I am team Liam and Sherlock, now, thanks to this manga.

I love that this adaptation is different. It's interesting to see the plot revolving around a villain for once, and tbh, Moriarty feels more like a morally grey character (Ik Ik I'm delulu for thinking so.). I do find him intriguing and appealing. His persona and aura are just way too charismatic for his own good. He's also a 21 years blond professor. He kinda reminds me of Lestat, the LOML!!!! so yeah, I totally dig him.

As for Sherlock, HOW ALLOWED HIM TO BE THAT ATTRACTIVE??? Can't wait to see more of him and his witty, arrogant self. I can not wait for them to bond together, and hopefully, we get more than that!!!

I don’t know much about manga, since this is the first one I’ve read. The concept of the story is interesting, and as soon as I got the hang of reading manga, I started to get more of a flow and understand more. Worth a read if you want a twist on the character of Moriarty.

Here is the thing, I’ve tried to read Sherlock Holmes and it wasn’t my cup of tea. But I do enjoy the re-tellings of this particular character.

With that being said, Moriarty is quite the hero (or villain?) that I can’t help but to root for. He’s charming, interesting, mysterious and I dare to say, a genius.

His brothers and him are part of a big plan to make Britain great again (lol, I know) and somehow they meet with a young man who’s practically Moriarty’s rival right then. Holmes is known for looking at the whole picture and having great deductions but what if there was someone who can beat him at that?

In a few words this first volume grabs your attention since the very beginning; it has a nice pace being a murder mystery and its fully showing us compelling characters from the moment we meet them. I like morally gray people who are willing to dirty their hands for a greater purpose.

Now, I absolutely love the art and I praise this mangaka for working on stories that have an interesting plot (he also worked for the Psycho-Pass manga adaptation) and I can’t wait to read what happens next!
