Probably the best book I've read this quarantine. It's so much better than the movies. I couldn't put it down. It's a great book!

Another read through of one of my favorite books of all time. If you enjoy the films I beg of you to read it, the details and world building is so much more interesting. While the science isn’t entirely accurate it is used in a nice way to add details and help the reader sink deep into the book. It is also clear a great deal of research and time was put into these novels.

The beginning is where one should begin.

Most people know about Jurassic Park. If not the books themselves, then at least the movies. With the newest addition to this amazing story coming to theaters, I wanted to go back to the beginning and read these amazing novels.

The infamous plot of - scientists cloning dinosaurs to create a massive theme park on a tropical island, and everything goes terribly wrong when humans think they can control everything – stays true to form whether reading these or watching the films. This story is for any scifi fan whether or not they get into dinosaurs. Whereas I think they look cool, I can’t actually tell that many dinosaur names. This doesn’t change the fact that I love these stories.

The books are thrilling, suspenseful, action-packed, and much more. There is a lot of science talk with the dna sequencing and etc., but don’t let that stop you. It isn’t over the top, and you get the basic ideas (if not the whole concept). Since perfectly preserved things have been found in amber, scientists have tried to determine a way to look into the lives of extinct species. Whether dinosaurs, mammoths, saber tooth tigers, etc., we humans love to ask what if. This book series does an amazing job of exploring a huge what if and the possible percussion's of it.
