A good novella for the most part. Do wish it had been full length though. So there could of been more development in the relationship between Kelly and Keith. As it was all a bit rushed in the end. Plus I didn't get the bit with Pip at all, and would of enjoyed the story more if that part had been missing.

This was a sweet quick read. I find novellas hard to review without giving too much away

Keith is a hockey superstar who's life changes when he gets traded.

Kelly is the perfect girl for him. She doesn't buy into all the hype around the superstar.

These two are so good for each other. No matter what anyone else says or thinks about them, they only have eyes for each other, and all the outside pressures and opinions (especially of her) be damned.

I loved that they work through all the problems they face together, and even when people from their pasts try to tear them apart they stay strong.

Thank you Nikki for gifting a copy of this novella for an honest review

Good prequel.
Just some basic get to know you stuff.
A little drama to whet your appetite.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

First book by the author I read. Short and simple.

Picked up the book mainly because of the Philadelphia connection. Reading that the author is from South Jersey gives it bonus points.
