This book was one of the books that I couldn't put down until I finished it. I was staying up reading this book, it was that interesting. I can't tell you all my favorite parts because I don't want to spoil the book for people who haven't read it but If you haven't read this book, read it. I got the feeling to read this book mainly because of the cover and it's always certain books with a very detailed cover that gives you that feeling that makes you want to read it.

The Shining meets Miss Trunchbull, but for kids. A super cute spooky middle grade read, though it dragged in the middle and wasn’t as tense as the first book.

This is such a great book! It’s the perfect way to introduce horror to young readers. I personally liked it because the author wrote the kids in a realistic way. Yes, kids “aren’t as logical” as adults but also have you met an adult recently? Yes they are. I love commentary from teens/preteens and that perspective (especially written now).

This second book in the Small Spaces series does exactly what it needs to do: it adds another layer of spookiness to its first installment as our young protagonists get trapped in a creepy hotel that strongly reminded me of some of Stephen King's work. Brrrr. Absolutely loved it!
