I desperately wanted to like this book, but between a slow, rambling plot, a main character that only thought about themselves and a rushed ending that didn’t really tie up any of the plot threads, I’m actually angry I wasted time reading this

When Maeve finds a tarot deck and starts doing readings for girls at her school, she thinks it’s fun and interesting - until she does a reading for her ex-best friend, Lily, and pulls a card that shouldn’t be in the deck called the Housekeeper. After a very public fight, Lily goes missing, and Maeve is pretty sure it’s her fault. Maeve, Lily’s brother Roe, and Maeve’s new friend Fiona have to work together to undo what the Housekeeper is doing.

This is a really solid witchy ya book. Loved it. Characters are great, queer rep is great, characters are flawed and honest but still likeable. It was great.

This was really interesting reading. Combination of young adult with a witchcraft and a little bit of a mystery. The middle part was a little bit overmixed, but the ending was better. I am looking forward to the next book as I can't imagine what it may be about.
