I flipped through Servamp’s first volume at my local library, and really liked what I saw, so I immediately borrowed the first 3 volumes to see if it’s good or not.

First of all, this manga reminds me of Soul Eater and Black Butler. It’s like a mix of those two. I really like the art style, and the story seems to have some promise.

I’ll give Servamp Vol. 1 a 4 out of 5. Pretty good start, hopefully it lives up to it’s potential.

It is kind of confusing at first, but interesting to keep reading to find out where it's going.

Has an odd take on the seven deadly sins as vampires. Once they drink the blood of their "eve" they become that person's servant.

The art is great and the story quite interesting, but I felt like there was something missing.
I'm still curious enough to continue reading the series.

I watched the anime a while ago and loved it. So wanted to try out the manga and so far loving it as much as I did the anime!

Actual Rating: 3.5*

Interesting but some parts were confusing (re: contracts) and this led to me asking more questions rather than just enjoying the storyline. I really like the characters and am looking forward to watching them progress as the story continues; however, I would also be okay with some of them staying exactly as they are. I feel like there is a lot more that could have been explained in these first couple chapters and that they were really rushed. I didn't really get a feel for the characters and their motivations outside of our two main leads and that makes me question why anything is even happening. I do think it's cool that the servamps are based on the seven deadly sins though! I'm definitely going to continue with this series.
