Good story line. It got confusing for me, still finished to see what happened. Not for me maybe for you.

I don't normally buy into amnesia stories, but the twin element and the cult past made the story interesting enough for me to just go with it. The book was weird and mysterious. Those are facets I like in a novel.

I started this book as an advanced copy and about halfway continued with audio. The narrator for this audio has a nice voice and does a great job.

For the story itself,  I feel like I lost connection and slight interest somewhere in the middle of the book. The beginning and the end kept my attention, but somewhere in the middle it seemed to lose the story.

This book was ok. It felt too long for how it ultimately resolved itself. Specifically the first half dragged a bit setting up the ending.

Am I biased because this takes place where I live and the author is from Norristown? Perhaps. But- this was a delicious read. Twisty, dark, and ominous, just the way a thriller should be. I loved being inside both Kat and Jude’s heads, and the author’s tone was perfect for this type of story. I’m excited to see the author’s other Fiction works.
