I read each part separately like I did back when this was first released and reviewed it as such. Overall I enjoyed this book but like many others, I hated the abrupt and lackluster ending. I rated each part differently but I would give the entire book a solid 3 stars. Part 1 was my favorite, followed by part 2, while part 3 was a huge let down. I still had a lot of fun reading this one!
Here's my review of each part:
- Part 1 -
3.75 stars on re-read.
I read parts 1 and 2 of Never Never in 2015 and never got around to finishing part 3. I'm not a big mystery/suspense reader but this piqued my interest way back in 2015. I haven't heard the best things about the ending which I'm kind of nervous about but part 1 was pretty good. I've been trying to piece everything together like Silas and Charlie and even though I read up to part 2, I can't remember anything that happened in either part. I definitely feel like my memory of this book has been erased along with Charlie and Silas.
- Part 2 -
4 Stars on initial read
3.25 stars on re-read
I really enjoyed my re-read of part 1 but part 2 wasn't as enjoyable. Although this book was written by two authors, I could see elements of Colleen's writing in part 1 and I do enjoy her writing style. I haven't read anything by Tarryn Fisher yet so I'm not sure about her writing style. I didn't see much evidence of Colleen in part 2 which is probably why I didn't really care for this one. I am still enjoying the way the story is unfolding.
- Part 3 -
3 stars on initial read
2.75 on reread
I don't remember if I actually finished part 3 of Never Never on my initial read of this "series" but maybe I thought it was so bad that I erased it from my memory. Parts 1 and 2 started off so well. I really enjoyed the main and side characters and the way the story was unfolding but the ending of part 3 fell so flat. This could've been such a good book with a twist ending but it was just that. I was trying my hardest to remember all of the minor details that were shared in previous chapters but none of it seemed to matter in the end. Overall great story, characters, and premise but terrible ending.

Geysp. Give me a break.
THIS BOOK WAS SO CUTE. Lovers lose their memories for 48 hours at a time & need to figure out why it's happening before their memory resets again. They're on a path to discovering themselves & sparking their love once more. HE FALLS FIRST - YES PLEASE. I didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. SO good!!
I seen a lot of hate for this book so when I was given this for Christmas I was abit unsure but thought I’d give it a go. Honestly I actually enjoyed it , yes super cheesey at parts but a super easy read. I’d probably go as far to give it 3.5 stars!!

That ending... Up until then, I was curious and intrigued about what was really going on but that ending just blew my mind.
Having not read a single review or anything about the story was maybe the best thing I did because I really couldn't see it coming.
Exceptional writing style, relatable and realistic characters and a unique story line.

My feelings for this book are all over the place. First of all, I'll openly admit that I have a soft spot for this book because the MMC, Silas, has the same name as my hubby. That was what drew me in to this book, and Silas' character really carried alot of the story for me. However, both of the main characters definitely provided plenty of reasons to dislike them, just as much as like them. The story was very unique, and I thought it was a wild ride from start to finish as well; but unfortunately it did leave alot of loose-ends. (You're really going to leave Cora hanging like that?) I wish the ending hadn't felt so rushed, but I did love the ending that the epilogue provided- we just should have gotten a bit more before that point. I guess all I can say to sum this up is that it left me with a rollercoaster of emotions!
