This was a re-read. A re-re-read? I've read it a lot, okay? I grew up on this series and OFMD made me want to read all 12 books again, so I settled on what I remember being one of my favorites, even if this one doesn't actually take place on a ship. It's just as comforting as ever to go back and get into trouble with Jacky Faber. Also, WOAH this is heavy for YA even though it's a comedy most of the way through.

Minor: Murder, Suicide, Animal cruelty, Slavery, Kidnapping, and Rape
