I AM STILL EMOTIONAL. This is so well-written I am in love. Definitely one of my favorite reads ever. I can't articulate how I feel yet but if I end up doing so, I will update this review.

The middle was kind of slow, but the beginning and end especially were excellent. Highly recommend.

I already enjoyed the first two books in this series immensely, but I think I might have enjoyed this one even more. I started reading this morning and I just had a lot of trouble quitting. I didn’t want to put my book away until I had finished, until I knew how the first leg of this story would end. And the ending was everything I had hoped it would be.
What I love about these books is how they question good and evil and what it means to be good and evil. Just like they question love, what love is and how powerful it can be and if it’s truly the only happy ending possible. And they also question what makes a girl and what makes a boy and all the other possible boxes we can put people into.
The result is an original tale of two girls finding their happy ending, their place in the world. When the entire world is trying to pit them against each other, they keep on fighting for a different ending, an ending where they can both be happy without having to kill the other. They are the true stars of this story and although I favour Agatha a little over Sophie, I care about both of them.
I also loved how in this book all the build up and elements from the previous books came together. Everything the girls learned and did. All the characters we heard about and got to meet already. They all come together for an epic finale where all storylines meet and find some sort of closure in their own way.
But, there’s also still a lot of story to tell and I can’t wait to dive into the next book in this series next week!

I’m OCD so I will finish this series but I still hate Sophie! She is SOOOO annoying 😩 I didn’t care for the “old heroes” part, but like Gwen’s part 😊

WOW. Just... wow. I loved all the old book characters interacting with the new, the amazing companionship between Tedros and Agatha, and to be quite honest, in this book I couldn't decide between Hophie or Raphie. Fantasmically written, a new favorite.
