This was a quick, fun read from Terry Pratchett. Half the fun was imagining I was a kid and getting a new story from Terry in Christmas morning...

My favorites were The Computer Who Wrote to Father Christmas, Judgement Day for Father Christmas, and Father Christmas Goes to Work at the Zoo.

A lovely collection of Christmas-themed short stories from the inimitable Terry Pratchett. I loved the Discworld references thrown in too, such as a character called Mr Strongi'tarm and use of the word 'widdershins'.

Byla to sranda, ale že by to na mě vyloženě vdechlo vánoční atmosféru, to zase ne. Povídky s Vánočním dědečkem byly super :D ale ty, co se odehrávali v městečku byli až moc praštěné. A jak jsou to jen krátké povídky, člověk nedostane dostatečné šance se do příběhu ponořit a užít si ho. Ale tak na začátek vánočního období a na odpočinkovou četbu je to jako dělané.

A delightful book of short stories. All silly, all based around winter and Christmas. Very Terry Pratchett/Roald Dahl. This would make a lovely stocking filler for a child still in love with Christmas.

Fun illustrations are the strongest part of the book for me. Stories are very short, the ideas weren’t as clever or strong as I hoped. Most of the stories were unsatisfying. Quick and cute read for holiday evening.
