The characters are painfully 16.

5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I've never really picked up many sci-fi books, only because I feel kind of dumb whenever I read them. I like biological science, not techie, too-many-names-for-something, crazy things. Naturally, going into The 5th Wave, I was a little apprehensive.

I'm happy I did pick it up, it was really good! The only true criticism I have is that the chapters don't have character names, so I got kind of lost while reading the chapters until finally someone said "Zombie" "Cassie" or whatever.

The action could have been handled a little better, because it was one of those things that happened too fast and I couldn't catch it as well as I could have. Everything else was phenomenal in this book.

I'm pretty sure I liked this. But I'm not positive. Some bits were hard to keep track of. But I liked he characters. And I liked the theme. So maybe I did...

I'm just confused.

I loved the image Rick Yancey painted with his writing. It's dark and exciting. The Changing POVs are also awesome!

Závěr byl něco naprosto epickýho, ale prvních dvě stě stran jsem se hrozně nudila, je to napsané takovým stylem, že mi to moc nesedlo. Ale jinak dobrý! :)
