The snowboarder and the nerd, Lia's story.
My notes- I am greatly irritated by some inconsistencies 1. they get invited to stay at some ones house "tonight" when it actually the next night. And 2. like a bad math problem, the fact that they left the house at 8 am, took a 2.5 hr. drive to Vancouver and ended up there for dinner???
And way too much "inner head speak" dissecting peoples behaviors, it was interesting but went on a little too long."

I did enjoy the story but man, after a bit I can only excuse so much...

Twin switch

Lei and Claire had to switch places so that Lei could attend a lecture that she had been wanting to attend. So Claire agreed to go with Lei's best friend, and Claire's secret crush, Finn to a fundraiser dinner to help his parents raise money for their youth center.
To Claire's surprise the night of the dinner when she opens the door it's not Finn there to pick her up, but his brother Bauer showed up instead. He knew that it was Claire and not Lei right away, but let her pretend to be her sister for the night.
His parents though it would help to have the sister of a local football legend there to help court a new donor that was going to be attending which is why they had Finn invite Lei Ward. Things between Claire and Bauer turn sideways fairly quickly, especially when they are invited to the donors Home for the evening and an overnight stay.
I loved this story and how these two fall for one another.

This book was pretty sweet and I was enjoying reading it but it was one of those books that didn't affect me in any way. I just think this book was a little forgettable for me.

Bauer was supposed to be the "bad boy" of sports but I didn't get that vibe from him. Honestly, I thought he was nice and passionate about his work which is always a good thing. He was a great book boyfriend. ;)
Claire was definitely a good girl like its said in the blurb. She was passionate about her studies and I liked that about her.
Their chemistry was amazing and it was a pretty good opposites attract.

But, halfway through the book I could see where the book was headed and what would drive them apart. It didn't surprise me at all. I was bored a lot in the begining too. There was just nothing about this book that stood out to me.

Still, I would probably recommend it to anyone who wants a light and cute read. Also, I can't wait for Lia's book. I think it's gonna be good.

Best I've read in a while..

I absolutely loved this story!! Claire is younger by two minutes and her family treats her like she's fragile. Bauer is rough on the outside and ice on the inside. Only a sweet girl like Claire could warm this Ice king snowboarder. The chemistry is fire here!!!
