⭐️⭐️⭐️🌶️🌶️ This was a quick &easy read. I enjoyed the banter between Reese &Jason. I caught myself smirking multiple times throughout the book.

The narrators did a fantastic job. There was a lot of expression in their voices throughout the story.

The writing was well done. If you enjoy a quick &easy rom-com, this one’s for you.

These two were beautiful to get to know as individuals and as a couple. To witness Reese let go of her hard shell to experience vulnerability in so many ways was breathtaking. Jason was the right amount of sweet and firm that she needed.

“Joseph scoffed. “People lie all the time. What if this woman is a gold-digger or something?” “That would be great. I need somebody to help me dig, maybe we’ll find some.”
― Christina C. Jones, Getting Schooled

I chose Getting Schooled on Libby for my reading challenge prompt, MC has a disability. Reesie is a young woman going to college and working with her mother as an assistant in her classroom. Reesie would like to graduate and begin teaching creative writing. Reesie helps her Mom in the classroom by proofreading papers and giving feedback to the students. She begins to develop an obsession with someone named J. Wright, because she loves his writing style. When she meets J. Wright, things change because of their negative confrontation. Reesie and Jason get to know each other as they try to balance a professional relationship and a personal one.

Getting Schooled was a cute romance story! It was suggested when I searched for romance books where the Main Character has a disability. Jason is an Army Vet, and has a prosthetic leg. I really enjoyed the back and forth between Jason and Reesie, they are such a cute couple and too funny. Jason has a niece who is 6 years old named Brielle, this was pretty cool for me!!!! If you like a quick, easy to read romance, you will like this one!!
