Audio book. This book did nothing for me. This is a disappointment because I have had several books by Harlan Coben on my TBR for a very long time and this is the first one I have tried. I found the beginning to be pretty slow. There were a couple of parts that peaked my interest but not all that much. I will try another one of Coben's books one day.

For a while, I wasn't sure what to think. Yet another book by Harlan Coben where the murder victim turns out alive? But I really appreciate the various twists Coben lays down, and I really loved the end.

This book was a nice surprise! I picked it up to read for work but was very quickly enthralled with it, finishing in just two sittings. The best part, for me, was being completely blown away by the ending. I did not see that coming.
Coben has a fast pace to this book so you never feel like anything is just there as filler. Everything, every little detail is important as it leads in to the conclusion.
If you have never read this author, like me, I highly recommend you give him a go. I can't speak for the rest of his books but this one was excellent!
