Idk what was wrong with this book but it was just too boring. Maya was unlikeable and the whole plot fell flat. I skipped to the end to figure out what happened and it did not need to be 30 chapters long.

Two stars only because I did get sucked into the story and wanted to know what happened. But the writing is atrocious and I hated the ending. I only read it because I saw a trailer for a movie based on the book, and thought I'd just read the book instead.
An absolute must read ,spine tingling , page turner thriller book . I have always liked Harlan Coben books but have to say this was his best . The end was amazing and completely unexpected . It was a very fast read and thoroughly enjoyable

I just finished "Fool Me Once" by Harlan Coben. A former special-ops pilot, Maya is home from the war. Her husband Joe is killed. This is one of several deaths that go back years in time. It is a well- told tale, and the suspense heightens. You will not expect the ending. It is a very good page turner. - Bob K.
