Fool Me Once

Harlan Coben

3.72 AVERAGE

I am a long time fan of Harlan Coben mysteries. This would have been better if I have read the actual book, instead of the audio---the reader's voice was just too sedate for a long car trip. Loved the mystery/drama, [though it was about 100+pages of unnecessary descriptive writing], straight through to the last chapter. The ending annoyed the heck out of me, but I have friends who loved it. Overall, good read.

Although this story was compellingly readable, I found the ending to be anticlimactic - an unsatisfying let down.

3.5 stars. A good, quick read, but nothing earth-shattering.

This was my favorite of Coben’s. The main character was annoying and not easy to relate to.
