I am still very much in doubt about my rating as this book had me hooked. But there were some chapters or passages within chapters that annoyed me. Especially the constant repeating about what people can do with their allomantic power.
Yes, we were aware that Spook has superhuman enhanced senses because of his constant tin burning, thank you, I don’t need it confirmed every other sentence.

And I did love how this whole trilogy was set up. You think you know how the world works and this book shatters it all, and I loved it!

What a beautiful and mind blowing ending to such an amazing book series. Every book has been a complete hit to me and I think this was the most satisfying to read overall. Before the insanity that was this ending, my main enjoyment about this book is that I felt that the attention given to the 'main cast' of characters was really well shared. Because of this, each played such a vital role in the events and were given amazing moments of character realisation and development.
Also, tbh, I think I also am just a huge Spook fan!!

Given the last two books, I love that I noticed myself now really trying to find the little secrets and foreshadowing that Sanderson hides in his writing. This also meant that when I did realise something, I had this extra time where I could really just sit and see how far back everything is set up. I mean, searching in the third book is fine, but if the foundation was so well built from the get-go, you'll never not be surprised. And I love it!

Just to drive the point home, this ending was such a beautiful way to round of this story. I'll be honest, the internet did me dirty and spoiled what was going to happen (very mad), but it was still so fascinating and surprising to actually read it. Again, I love seeing how well planned these stories are and the reveals are so satisfying. Does not mean the ending wasn't painful though ;-;

I will say, while I loved most of this book, the only thing is (big spoiler)
the god stuff was sometimes just hard to really understand and connect with for me. This made me almost detached from a very few small events and, idk I think that was the only struggle I had. It was really fascinating but also just reminds me of the fact that in fantasy things always seem to need to get bigger and worse. I've had this before where this made me lose interest, but because of the how well everything else is done in these books, it wasn't too much of a problem
