Jester is my favorite critical role character so I must say I did have very high expectations that were not fulfilled by this comic book. As a stand alone it is a fairly decent read, but knowing the backstory and characterization of this character outside this novel it simply did not completely satisfy me. I think if more characters are added to the next installment the series will vastly improve. I want to see the mighty nein all get together. Gotta say I did appreciate some of the Jester girlboss moments as well.
