I received a free copy of this book from Voracious Readers Only in exchange for an honest review.
It's a cute story about a group of travelers stranded in an airport on Christmas Eve. The various interactions between characters as the night progresses kept me interested all the way through.
If you like Hallmark Christmas movies, this is probably a good book for you!

This was truly my perfect Christmas book. SO many classic Christmas movie vibes (Love Actually, Unaccompanied Minors, The Family Stone, Four Christmases, Just Friends, Let It Snow, just to name a few). It included multiple love stories, and it was short and told in one evening at an airport so this was super easy and quick to read. This gave me so much serotonin in an otherwise difficult year and although I would’ve loved to finish this before Christmas, it was the perfect book to end 2020 with and I’m so glad I read it. As someone who has always aspired to become a published author but not really thought it could happen, to read at the end that not only is this a debut but also a self-published novel also just made me love it more and I was so inspired.
I will 100% reread this in Christmases to come. In case anyone is curious, this is my definitive ranking of each storyline ranked from favourite to least favourite (although I really did love them all):
1. Trevor and Kat
2. Landry and Resa
3. Adrian and June
4. Mariel
6. Charles
7. Wes and Keely

Even though I read this book in January, I still adored falling back into the joy of the holiday season. One of my favorite Christmas movies is Love Actually and this book struck a similar cord with me. Following strangers stuck in the airport, the book examines how others can impact our lives and how one snow storm can change the course of the evening and maybe even one's life.
The characters were all fun. The plot lines compelling and skillfully woven together. And beyond the great craft and thought put into this book, the author did a great job creating a world within an airport that was easy to get lost in. I read this book in one sitting and was sad when it was over!
Def a great holiday read for anyone who loves Love Actually and the holidays in general!

This was so sweet and lovely! A bunch of connected stories about people stuck in an airport on Christmas Eve, with love and relationships at the focus (romantic, familial, etc.).

This was a cute holiday story! I don't read many, so it was a change of pace. The multiple storylines were easy to follow and it was fun how they all intertwined!
Moderate: Grief
Minor: Death, Toxic relationship
This is such a lovely Christmassy contemporary if you're looking for something a little less romance-heavy. It was exactly what I was craving, and I read this in one sitting. I'm especially impressed by how memorable all the characters were, considering you get to know and follow a lot of different characters in this book.

i picked this up thinking it was an adult rom com but after reading it it feels more like YA, but even then im not sure. very cute lighthearted story and very sweet! it just seemed a bit too unrealistic for me
Listen, I know I wrote it, but you better believe I'm adding it to my GoodReads challenge.
