What a surprise. I  enjoyed this. And was really moved by the brief twist. Poignant sadness. The romance midway was charming. It left me wanting more and to chase the next book in this series.

Book 2 of the Throne of Glass series. This is a great continuation of the series. I truly think the best part of this book is the story between Celaena and Chaol. It is great to see their friendship and love grow. We get to see a glimps of Celaena’s past as we see characters she has once known. Celaena is battling knowing what to do and who to trust through this book. Everyone has their own agenda and tries to trust but giving only so much to those around them.
