This book was an incredible, personal story of the Palestinian fight for liberation. It reminds us that the events we see are real, terrible things happening to real people, even children under an illegal apartheid state and have been going on for many many years, not just since Oct 7 when the majority of the world (including myself) became more aware of the Palestinian struggle. Ahed is absolutely incredible and so real, her bravery in the face of unspeakable odds must motivate us to also stand up for injustice and fight for a free Palestine, especially when we are not under nearly as oppressive conditions as she is.

This should be the first toe-dip into understanding the complexities of Palestine’s right to freedom.

Amazing! Should be a mandatory read in school. Very relevant to so many subjects and teachers/professors can come up with thought provoking questions and activities.
