Let me start by saying, I read this entire book in one sitting. I couldn't stop. I was immediately sucked in. Rowe, the FMC, is someone who you instantly love and relate to. Being a normal human who is surrounded by paranormals, she's trying to live as best as she can. She's a hard worker who loves those closest to her.
Volker, also known as The Moonlight Wraith- a super assassin, corners Rowe and demands she helps him in his quest for vengeance. He believes she not a lowly human but possesses an immense power he needs. She can't really say no to a super assassin and the quickest way to be rid of him is to just help him.
This was a delicious slow burn! The sexual tension was so thick. Their chemistry was

Queen Me, book 2 of the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. All books of this series will be set in the same universe with characters coming in and out of each others' stories. Book 2 brings us Rowe's story. She has always wondered what happened to her mom, is now finally when she will find out?

This book has humor, sadness, joyful moments, and deception. Man I hate when people you think care about you, just stab you in the back. Rude!

Rowe finds out a lot about herself and just maybe she can find someone to spend her days with. Isn't that what we all want from life?

Amber Lynn Natusch wrote a great book and I can't wait to see what the next ones have to bring us.

not a great follow up

Reject me was amazing. 5/5 without a doubt. This took 80% for a kiss! Outside of her dreams there was no chemistry. Boring.

Queen Me by Amber Lynn Natusch is the second book released in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. This is a spicy paranormal romance novel with some great plot twists you won't see coming.

The Immortal Vices and Virtues novels are standalone books, written by different authors, but they occur in the same universe. I highly recommend reading these books as a series, and in order, so that you understand some of the backstory.

Queen Me tells the story of Rowe, a lowly human who is over-worked and under-appreciated by the supernaturals who rule her world. All she wants is to belong, but in a world where magic, strength and supernatural ability are everything, belonging isn't an easy feat.

Volker, the formidable assassin fae known as the Moonlight Wraith, and former king of a rival House, wants revenge on his usurper, but for that he will need Rowe's help. Will she be willing to give it, or will she be unable to say no?

I loved this spicy paranormal romance told from the POV of both Rowe and Volker (aka the Moonlight Wraith). The writing and worldbuilding were both great, plus it was full of fantastic characters- I love a strong and funny female protagonist, especially when paired against a sexy smirking fae like Volker.

Go on...Queen Me awaits!

☆ I received an ARC of this book from the publisher, which in no way sways my honest opinion, as stated in this review ☆

After an awesome book 1 of the series, I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one :D

Worldbuilding:
As the whole series is set in the same world, it feels comfortable, for lack of a better word.
We know the lay of the land, especially since most of this story takes place in good old Fire and Fluorite territory (yep, we're back!) with the lovely addition of some No Man's Land and Air and Amethyst.

Character development:
Rowe is a human (or mostly human) stuck in a supernatural world. Her mother died years ago, and her friends Adora and Danni had to leave her behind (check out book 1 if you haven't already!). So here she is, all alone, either cleaning, waiting tables or getting drunk :D
That all pretty much changes when the Moonlight Wraith finds her (tiny spoiler, she pukes on his shoes and actually doesn't kill her... who knew he had it in him ;) ), and her life turns a bit more precarious. She's quick on her feet, loyal to a fault and will help you out even when she's dead on said feet. Just don't give her any booze, seriously lol.
Volker, the Moonlight Wraith, our former king of Air and Amethyst, had his throne usurped and needs something from Rowe to take it back. He's mysterious, takes what he wants and kills whoever dares to cross him.
Both of them have hardships to deal with in this book, but slowly, they grow towards each other.

What I really like in this instalment is that it's not an "insta-love" or such, it takes time, and a lot of issues present themselves before... yeah, nope, sorry, not spoiling ;) But yeah, having it all take time was refreshing :)

We don't meet that many characters, but I hope we see more of Myra throughout the series (or a spinoff, please!). She was awesome, and I can't wait to know more about her.

Pacing and flow:
This book kept me entertained from start to finish. It's not the fastest book, but the author lets it take its time to get everything up to speed. I do feel that the end could have been drawn out a bit longer, but that's just me :)

The book:
The book was well written with no (noticeable) errors. There is some sex described (if that is important to you). I would rate the steam/spiciness

Wow. This book was AMAZING! It was book 2 in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world and this series is shaping up to be a #1 series for me. I loved the glimpse of Rowe in book 1 and I love that book 2 picked up with her. She may be mostly human but she is badass and I love her sass! The book plot was fast paced but thorough and that ending!!! I did not see that coming! Definitely buying this is physical copy asap! Run, don’t walk on this whole series!! It will be well worth it!
