A very sweet story about the transformative effects of dogs and the magical city of Venice.

A very boringly written story and just a mundane story of a guy who’s overly needy in relationships and has a “finding one’s self” moment

Such an uninteresting book.

3.5 stars, a quick and happy story about self discovery. This story is definitely one if you want a quick pick me up or just something to make you smile.

Lyrical; melancholy; made me want to go to Venice. Needless to say, NPH does an incredible job narrating - his rendition is nuanced and emotional.

This was a fun, quick read, but I did not find myself wanting any more of the story than what was already given. It was less about the dogs and more about the main characters break up and growth in the aftermath.

Neil Patrick Harris did a good job with the narration. I did speed it up more than I usually do as it was a bit slower than I prefer at the 1.0x pace.
