Probably would have rated it higher had I not read some of the critiques of the book and the author halfway through…
It was more about the forbidden romance which wasn't what I thought the focus would be on. Also googled this book and it was not well received which kind of confirmed what I was thinking about it.

The cover says it’s a novel but the epilogue says it’s actually a true story, told by the man to the author. If it’s a novel, I was going to give it 4-stars but if it’s true, 5-stars. Take of that what you will :)
