An excellent book from a Canadian icon. I thoroughly enjoyed these essays and found Polley’s writing to be engaging and thoughtful. I’ve always thought she was cool and this book only confirmed my feelings about her.

BTW if you know anyone who suffers from the lingering effects of a concussion-based brain injury, read them the last essay. It was super interesting to see how Polley’s 3 year struggle to overcome her concussion ended after 6-8 weeks and gave her the title to this book.
