I liked it, It's really kind of sad, and it made me cry but I still liked it!
I kind of predicted the outcome to this one but it still made me sad. Overall another good masterpiece.
Definitely picking up steam in this novel, the team up at the end had me hype!!! Maberry does a great job of building in an exciting twist coupled with some intrigue. Genuinely excited to see where these characters go next!
A great addition to the series and does not suffer from "Middle Book Syndrome" as so many sequels do. It's packed with action and plot twists that I couldn't see coming and kept me interested until the very last page.
Again...the zombies in this Zombie Story are sort of secondary to the rest of the really good writing and plot and character development. Within moments of finishing this one, I embarked on the next, Flesh & Bone. Really really good books. They compel me toward the next.
Rating 3.4* out of 5. Good but not exactly great. Benny, his brother and friends are heading east, in the direction of a jumbo jet they've seen overhead. Absolutely nothing goes as planned. A bit to YA for my taste. Didn't deter me from immediately picking up the next one though. ;-) (I'm on vacation without a pc, so my phone types reviews are short.)
VERY enjoyable. Fast-paced, kept me on the edge of my reading seat even as we watched the characters in non-action sequences. Everyone grew and I LOVED how Chong's personality developed. Thrilling, thoughtful, fun, gruesome and gripping. Highly recommend for the hack and slash lover who doesn't mind great characters!
The different perspectives in this book was a really awesome touch. The character development is still amazing. I was so sad at the end.
Til min overraskelse er jeg virkelig blevet glad for den her serie.
Started off slowly, but picked up in action as it went on. Good conflict, suspense, and foreshadowing. More zombie action and more mystery too, making the urge to read the next in the series that much stronger.
