It was a very sweet story, but the stakes were never very high. I felt like I never got invested; I think I only finished it because every time I got in the car it would connect to the Libby app and play automatically.

This wasn’t bad but it also wasn’t that interesting. If anything the last plot with the whole social media fiasco would’ve made for a better book

Mal is kinda the only person I liked in the story (lowkey he deserves better) lol. The love triangle wasn’t really a triangle due to most of the story being focused on Mal & Jo. The third act conflict felt…contrived, but I just rolled with it. Overall, the book is fine. I rarely read romance and when I do I need tension, yearning, oomph…this was a bit lackluster and Ezra and Jo annoyed the hell outta me.
