This was a good book it kept me engaged it just made me mad. I desperately needed Jo to lock in. Ezra ain’t shit and he ain’t never been shit. Being friends with him for a decade and longing for him they were so 🙁. MAL MY GOAT he deserved so much I love him so bad. He put work in to know who he was Jo needed to do that a bit more I fear.

I liked the storyline and concept of this book. I liked the mental health representation, especially for black women. However, something just fell short for me. I didn't love it. I felt myself being quite annoyed at Jo and how she handled certain situations. I liked Mal for the most part but their connections didn't give me butterflies.
Overall, a good read but just lacked a little umph for me.
