Ok first off — favorite thing about this book? Multiple POVs. finally I got to see into the minds of Hadriel, Leala, and of course Nyfain. Second, this book read more like a true fantasy/adventure novel than the first two. There was more of an actual plot compared to the previous books (but don’t worry, there was still PLENTY of smut). The ending read like the summary for the next book which I didn’t totally appreciate, HOWEVER, i did enjoy the twist. It was obvious that the queen was still alive as soon as Hadriel started mentioning his disbelief at seeing a particular woman (could you be more obvious). The actual reveal of who the queen was? Did not see that coming. All in all, good fantasy read for those who have more *erotic* tastes (okay maybe more so for those who don’t MIND a few filthy sex scenes here and there). This book is NOT pure smut, it’s got a great story with awesome new characters as well as development in the characters you’ve grown to love from the first books. Definitely recommend

This book in the series was a lot slower and had a lot less sex, even though it was crazy at times. I felt like the middle dragged a bit. Two and three could have been merged together.
I wasn't surprised by the 'twist' at the end. There will hopefully be a happily ever after at the end of the next book. The challenges are starting to get overwhelming but no one dies, unbelievable and eye-rolling.

I enjoyed the chapters from different characters a lot. I liked Hadriel in the books before already and loved him in this book. Damn he is so funny, weird and likeable. The story was interesting. Mid book I started to get a little bored because I wanted Nyfain and Finley back together already. I was a little sad that they just had this tiny bit of story together in this book. But still such a good book.
