I was almost gonna give it 4 ⭐ but the fact that it doesn't end when it really clearly feels like it.... No.

This one was much more interesting and engaging than the last one. There were times where I couldn't stop reading and I had to do "just one more chapter".
It didn't have much spice in it either, which was nice after getting tired of it in the previous one.

My main concern might be my fault in a way but also I don't think so. I downloaded the 2nd and 3rd books at the same time, but not the 4th; so while I was reading it it felt like it was a trilogy, I THOUGHT it was a trilogy.

I get to the end of this one, and turns out it isn't. It really well could've been, it really could've wrapped up nicely and it just didn't because it didn't even end on a cliffhanger, it just ended.

Like I said, it's in part my fault, but also I think it could've ended there, be a trilogy and end nicely, and turns out there's still one more. I really don't know what could happen In the next one, but I think it's probably gonna feel dragged out.

I'm not sure if I'll read it. Probably not.

I know it is probably a very unpopular opinion, but I have liked this book the best so far. Mostly, this book focused on the story with some sex thrown in rather than constantly interrupting the progression for some steamy time like the first two books. The characters are all likeable and quirky. I look forward to the next book

I liked it. Good spice.
I just didn't remember finishing it.

I binge read this series, so ya'll are getting all my thoughts at once

Book 1: I was a bit worried it would be as cringy as ACOTAR, but it wasn't. Nice set up to the series, but I was ready to dive more into the story/ see the characters relationships pan out.
Book 2: The notes were adorable, and were a nice building block for Nyfain and Finley's relationship. A bit slow in parts, but you can tell it's leading to something good.
Book 3: This was the most plot forward book. For obvious reasons, it's lacking a bit in the romance department, but the side characters really shined. (And we get to see Finley in a leadership role)
Book 4:  A good ending to the series. I felt the pacing was a bit off at parts. I liked how Nyfain's wing situation was handled. (wait was that book 3? I think that was this book.). My only gripe is a big ICK for me, but a common romance trope especially in mate books
surprise pregnancy / plot filler pregnancy

Of the three books out so far, this is probably my least favorite. That’s probably because I loved the chemistry and interactions between the core group in the first two novels and that was missing since the majority of this book was them separated. That’s not to say it’s not a great continuation of the story, just that I can’t wait for the next one so we get the fam back together again.
