I try to keep my reviews simple and leave them as a yes or no read, I believe art is subjective, ones humor and life experiences really are the driving connectors that force our love for a book but this book right here. THIS BOOK RIGHT HERE!! I love all the final character development, I love the struggle, I love the FIGHT! I love all the sacrifices made by both parties, I love the internal struggle of never feeling good enough even though you're the only person for the other. I love the dark humor and the potty mouths. K.F. Breene does a great job every time, I am sad to see the series end but I am excited to see what happens for Finley and Nyfain in the final book Queen of Ruin, I hope they earn their Ever After.

more plot, more dragging along

Yay, we finally have more plot. Less yay, the story dragged so much. It took forever for things to actually happen. We finally got some excitement but the description of action was average and left me disappointed. We got different perspectives in this installment but it’s pretty clear there is no clear distinction between any of their inner monologues. They all sounded the same which was a bummer.

I liked this one the best out of this series so far.

I’m just having a hard time taking this series & characters very seriously. It’s almost comical the level of deviant absurdity. It’s also a bit “much” but I found this one fairly entertaining.

I’m curious to see how the conclusion plays out…
