It was slow and fast at the same time.
The war part was both compelling and not. I like this female lead but she was also dumb. This is truly one of this author's least disturbing or revenge filled works but idk I wanted more in terms of other things. Since we aren't leaning into revenge then the romance or brotherhood sub plot should have ben stronger.
So much more time meandering in the beginning made the final war too quick.
The ML was truly gentle to the FL this time. Very agreeable and understanding even before they got together. Although he was suspicious about her for a large portion of the book.

i've been eagerly waiting for the tv drama, but since it's taking ages to be released, i decided to dive into the novel instead, and omg, that was one of the best decisions i've ever made! the story is so much fun, with captivating characters, an amazing couple, and a super satisfying revenge plot. i loved it so much, and i'm definitely going to check out the author's other works.

I read this book because I'd already read two others by the same author. I thought it would be pretty much the same, because the author loves a rebirth, but I was shocked by how well this was done. The author made good decisions and learned from mistakes with their previous novels. Is "reborn girl gets revenge" basically still their modus operandi? Yes, but this one was much lighter, a lot less gory, and the blood siblings weren't terrible.
Having good family members on both sides makes a WORLD of difference.
If you like Transmigration, characters that radiate positive vibes, and a good romance plot in the midst of your epic journeys, then this is for you.
