This was simply adorable. I loved every single story and this will be added to a list of reasons why I need a cat.

Sometimes these anthologies are hit and miss with the stories, but this one was solid all the way through. It made me want to try writing a short story, but Elly Blue's call for submissions for the next one is already over. Will have to try again later. I particularly liked the first one (great for reading to kids), the one on Mars, and the one with the witch who was kicked out of school. But they are all good- the gardening cats on Pluto, the dressmaker, all of them. It's available on hoopla as an e-book, but I got the physical copy from the library.

C.A.T.S.: Cycling Across Time and Space is an anthology of feminist SFF stories featuring cats and bicycles. I particularly enjoyed Kathleen Jowitt's story, about a trade union organiser and her cat taking a cycling holiday, and Alice "Huskyteer" Dryden's business case study about why bicycle sales to a planet populated by felines are so low; other stories featured steampunk suffragettes, scientists on Mars, robots and many more. This was a lovely collection (and made me kind of want a bicycle, even though I can't actually ride a bike).
