I cannot understand the 5 star reviews. This was poorly written, poorly plotted. The two stars instead of one is because I was able to finish it.

Exciting! Loved Marcus and Oleg! I wish I hadn't looked at the list of characters as I viewed it as a spoiler.

Good book.

I had the worst time getting into this book. It felt lacking until 25% in, then it started picking up better. I appreciate the fact that this book is action-packed and contains NO profanity. That's how every book should be!

Couldn't get past the narrator, just not my style, like he's having a conversation down at the club about the markets.

Another solid book. I was a little disappointed that Marcus didn’t have more agency in the plot that was advertised as being at the core of the book though. This one incorporates faith a lot more explicitly than Rosenberg’s other books, but it doesn’t feel campy or preachy, which I appreciate! Also—is this going to be a series?? Because...that ending?!

I love Joel Rosenberg books and I think he's one of the most gifted thriller writers. As I read I noticed the author had put a great deal of effort to introduced Marcus Ryker and his background so I'm hoping there will be perhaps book two. I wouldn't say this was my favorite book of his but it was a very thrilling read nonetheless.
