I genuinely didn't know what to expect going into this one, but MAN I am so glad I took a gamble. Holy hotness - literally. I want an Az for myselfffff!
It was good but I didn’t really like Zach. I don’t mind MM but I don’t like when one of the men is also a romantic interest because it feels like he is also the main character even though it’s not his story. It get confusing.
HOLY FUCK.
that's it. that's the review.
This is the kind of book that makes you want to hide it in the deepest recesses of your shelves AND you definitely don't want anyone reading your annotations because it will call everything into question.
What a wild journey this book was.
Yes, it definitely rendered me speechless.
Yes, was blasphemous in all ways imaginable.
And I— should I be concerned that I am actually liking books like this?
My only regret is that I began reading this on weekends; now, when I go to church, I can't look at the altar in the same way.
CERTAINLY, the cross scene absolutely petrified me more than the knife and gun scene in Den of Vipers. I feel like I need to bathe — and drown , if possible — myself in holy water after finishing this because I can already see my soul burning from the deepest pit of hell. I feel as if I should repent or something.
Maybe He was testing me. And indeed, forgive me Father for I have failed.
I'd like to highlight one of the themes in this book: Zach's personality has left a significant impact on me; reading a character who goes through the same crap as me makes me feel validated. As someone who grew up in a religious household and closeted bisexual, I definetly appreciate the representation.
I was actually torn on weather to rate this book 3.5 or 4 stars b/c there were obviously loopholes and inconsistency— most especially with the timeline and the personality of the characters,, but gave up on a whole four stars just because I think I found a new guilty pleasure of mine

Dobra bo jakby...

Who knew I’d enjoy a reverse harem book that included a Succubus, an Angel, and three priests? Apparently Kathryn Moon and Crystal Ash.
Good story with characters you want to get to know. A balance of humor, intimacy, and action. At the end of the world, a town like Bethel seems like it wouldn’t be too bad a place to be.

definitely not what i was expecting but i liked it. az and kais and zach and stav and deyva!! we love deyva she’s definitely my favorite. i think az is next honestly. i loved how they beat the odds. this story was cute and spicy with some action. didn’t like how the villagers acted towards deyva at first but whatever. deyva is still the goat. definitely a good read.
