Please, Father

Please?! Please can I have more?! I haven’t read Crystal North’s other books, but I’ve been obsessed with Kathryn Moon for ages. This book has the same, immersive world-building that I’ve come to expect from Kathryn, and I’m planning to dive into some of Crystal’s since she had a hand in building Bethel. This book is irreverent in the best ways, I mean, it’s very clear from the blurb that some vows are taken very loosely. However, there are also poignant moments of love and an undercurrent of faith that keep the book from seeming too dark or hopeless. I’m not even going to go into a synopsis or character analysis. Although I will say that every one of these characters is written with imperfections evident, but it makes them so much deeper and realistic, even within the context of an apocalyptic town facing demon uprisings. Oh, plus the action in the book is sinfully decadent, so that is also a huge plus. These ladies definitely make a dream team pair!

Perfect for former catholic degenerates

Did you grow up catholic? Are you now NOT a straighty-one-eighty? Does the idea of three hot priests, a succubus and a (slightly) fallen angel debauching each other and saving humanity together sound like your jam? This is the book for you. With a solid dose of revised catholic lore (for narrative and/or sexy purposes), plenty of blasphemy, and the love of Jesus, Say Your Prayers had me reading religiously - right through to my last (meal) supper (for the day). Forgive me, though, for I confess I was already a Kathryn Moon stan.

Amazing

Was really surprised with how much I love this and I can’t help but love a book that tells a whole story and has a satisfying ending all in one book without being short .
