4/5 "heroine saying 'carrying bags full of books is my cardio' is the energy we need this year" stars.

This book was SO CUTE! The hero was always in love with her (but she was too in her own head to see it) while they were in high school together. Now she's back in their small town after being in a shitty relationship with a total loser who broke up with her on their wedding day after her grandmother dies, leaving her a tulip farm and a clause that she has to get married in order to inherit.

Needless to say we get some fake dating, marriage of convenience, single parent of his niece, grumpy-sunshine, small-town fun with a lot of heart (and a dirty-talking stern brunch daddy). What more could I ask for? I also love that the book brings in a situation that could have resulted in "girl drama" but then totally flips it around. Love that.

Romance satisfaction —❤️❤️❤️❤️

There’s a lot it love about this book. The niece was very part. She was vibrant and interesting. I also loved the MMC Noah. I liked the FMC too. Part of the problem with this book is that a frank conversation between the two adults could have cleared a lot up. Also the FMC makes a lot of assumptions and they are all wrong and they got very annoying, but maybe that’s just real life. Overall this was a fun book, but too long. I got hella bored with the book after I was 3/4 done and I could not understand what still needed to happen. About 1/4 of the book could have been cut.

It is steamy though, but it’s a sllllllooooooooowwwwww buuuuurrrrnnn. However, Noah is the perfect cinnamon roll grump. I love him.
