Is there anything more cliché than a kindergarten teacher coming back to her small town to find out that the shy boy from school, (currently grumpy, flannel-wearing and smoking hot) has been in love with her since forever? Probably not, but the thing with cliches is that they work and so did this book. It was all feels and cozy vibes. More cheese than jam tbh.

The romance was sweet but both Shay and Noah were very good at not seeing what was in front of them. It resulted in the book being about 200 pages longer than necessary, but it’s fine, they were (mostly) entertaining pages

God, i really, really loved and adored this one . It's so simple and heartwarming . Just like a cool breeze, i may have felt if i were to visit the little star farms . (According to my imagination, thanks to the author )
And my god Noah

cute

hello Daddy Bread Baker

Noah and Shay did have my head shaking for a lot of the book. These two definitely need better communication skills but thankfully they get their act together in the end. Gennie (Noah’s niece) always steals the scene whenever she appears. Shay’s friends, especially Jaime, are just a hoot! Noah is a cinnamon roll with a dark alpha hidden in the bedroom.

2024 Audiobook Review: Kitt Swann and Jason Clarke narrate this gem of a book. I kept laughing every scene that Gennje appears in. They both did an amazing job especially with the voice changes.

This was cute.

Gennie the 6 year old niece is my favorite character. Her cursing had me laughing out loud.
This is basically a situation where there is a big miscommunication from the past and a fake marriage. Would not put in my “read again” list.

I was just bored there was nothing special about this story or characters or plot line and if anything they both annoyed me. I hated how much he called her “wife” bc it was overkill. And I hated how blind she was
